Litigation: Trial and Appellate Advocacy

Sometimes the only way to stand up for your business is to do it in court.  When that happens, you want an attorney who can guide you through the litigation process and be a strong advocate for your cause.

Over the last decade, I have served as both a federal law clerk and as a private-sector trial attorney.  I’m fortunate to have seen how issues play out on both sides of the bench.  I have participated in matters before state and federal trial courts, appellate courts, and administrative agencies.  I even had the honor of contributing to amicus briefing to the United States Supreme Court in the landmark case of United States v. Windsor.

Not only am I experienced and nerdy, but I’m also a great actor.  No, really!  I graduated from the Meadows School of the Arts at Southern Methodist University with a B.A. in Acting.  Storytelling is a passion of mine.  That narrative thread is gold, and a good lawyer should use it to tie the jury’s emotions to the client’s story in any given case.

I would love to tell your story.  Call or email me to schedule a litigation consultation.
